Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, on Sept. 22, the extension of the validity of visit visas for the purpose of tourism.
This came in line with the directives issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
The extension includes visas that were not used as the Kingdom suspended tourism as part of its efforts to control the spread of coronavirus.
All tourist visas issued before March 24, 2021, were automatically extended, the ministry said, adding that all beneficiaries have been notified about the extension via e-mail.
The extension came as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to mitigate the repercussions of the precautionary measures related to the COVID-19 outbreak.
