Saudi Arabia records 70 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Saudi Arabia recorded 70 COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 546,549, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 81, raising the total number of recovered cases to 535,531 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 2,357, of which 343 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported five new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,661.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 21, followed by Makkah (19), Eastern Province (7) and Madinah (6).

 

The Kingdom conducted 44,001 new tests in the last 24 hours, while the total number of administered COVID-19 doses rose to 40.79 million.
