Saudi Arabia receives 10 mln Umrah performers since launch of phased return

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced that the Kingdom received 10 million Umrah performers since the launch of phased and safe return for Umrah, prayers and visit.

 

The number of visas reached 12,000 with the start of 1443 AH Umrah season.

 

The ministry exerted efforts to provide quality service to pilgrims, worshipers, and visitors, amid the application of precautionary and preventive measures as well as health protocols to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and its variants.

 

The ministry cooperates with the competent authorities to implement the plans that are based on health and security pillars. As part of a strategic plan, the ministry also seeks to expand capacities to receive 3.5 million Umrah performers, worshipers, and visitors monthly.
