Shares of Basic Chemical Industries Co. (BCI) hit today, Sept. 16, their highest level in seven years, at SAR 44.90.

 

The stock closed today’s session 5% higher at SAR 44.60 – the highest close since 2014, with a trading volume of 3.1 million shares.

 

Accordingly, the stock gained more than 30% year-to-date (YTD).

 

The company was founded in 1973 and listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) in 2008.

 

BCI manufactures chloralkali, chlorine gas, hydrochloric acid, caustic soda, and sodium hypochlorite.
