Saudi Arabia records 80 COVID-19 cases on Sunday, lowest since March 2020

Saudi Arabia recorded 80 COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 12, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 545,992, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Today's number of infections is the lowest since March 2020.

 

Recoveries reached 95, raising the total number of recovered cases to 535,078 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 2,291, of which 508 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported six new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,623.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 31, followed by Makkah (15), Eastern Province (7), and Madinah (5).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 44,200 new tests over the last 24 hours, and the total number of administered doses increased to 39.5 million.
