Gulf Development International (GDI) is working with Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) to build a modular equipment plant in NEOM city, at a cost of more than $1 billion, Al Sharq News reported, citing GDI Chief Executive Officer (CEO) George Creel.
“We are cooperating with Saudi Aramco’s engineering team to develop a number of hydrocarbon products to maintain sustainability,” Creel said.
The project cost will be divided between Saudi capitals and other direct foreign investments, which the company will attract to the Kingdom.
“We mull launching additional projects, including an international academic medical center and a number of other developments in Riyadh, Western Province and Eastern Province,” he noted.
