Saudi Arabia recorded 119 COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 8, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 545,624, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 188, raising the total number of recovered cases to 534,639 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported seven new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,598.

 

Active cases totaled 2,387, of which 589 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 38, followed by Makkah (20), Eastern Province (9), Madinah and Jazan (8) each.

 

The Kingdom conducted 49,350 new tests in the last 24 hours, while the total number of administered COVID-19 doses rose to 38.60 million.
