Saad AlHammad, official spokesperson, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) said that around 97% of public sector employees and 96% of private sector workers have been vaccinated.
These numbers implied high level of awareness and increasing health security in the workplace, said Saad AlHammad, the ministry official spokesperson, in a press conference about the latest developments of the COVID-19 outbreak.
AlHammad indicated that the public institutions’ employees are still working remotely, adding that remote working proved effective during the pandemic.
The ministry enabled all the state-owned entities to implement the remote work pattern, provided that the remotely-working employees should not exceed 25% of the total work force, he noted.
