Saudi Arabia records 321 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 321 COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 25, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 543,028, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 549, raising the total number of recovered cases to 530,382 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 4,141, of which 1,083 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported eight new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,505.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 74, followed by Makkah (57), then Eastern Province and Al Qassim (32 each), Asir (26), Jazan (25) and Madinah (20).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 67,930 new tests over the last 24 hours, and the total number of administered doses increased to 34.98 million.
