Arab Sea Information Systems Co. signed a cooperation agreement with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) to provide technical solutions and accounting systems for issuing e-invoicing and e-notifications that comply with provisions of e-invoicing regulation in Saudi Arabia.
This will enable taxpayers to fulfill their statutory obligations, the company said in a bourse filing today, Aug. 25.
The company signed the agreement on Aug. 24, which came into effect as of the date of signing for one year. It will be automatically renewed for a similar period or periods, the statement noted.
The agreement does not entail any rights or financial obligations between the two parties.
ZATCA launched, on Aug. 24, the e-invoicing project (Fatoora), which will become mandatory in the Kingdom starting Dec.4, Argaam reported.
