Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.
1) Saudi Indian Company for Cooperative Insurance (Wafa Insurance) said it was unable to disclose its financial results for the first six months of 2021 within the specified time.
2) The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) announced that Morgan Stanley Saudi Arabia completed all regulatory and technical requirements to become a member of the derivatives market.
3) Tadawul enforced a one-day trading suspension on shares of Al Sagr Cooperative Insurance Co. and Middle East Specialized Cables Co. (MESC) on Aug. 23, due to failure to disclose financial statements for Q2 2021 during the regulatory period.
4) Emaar The Economic City (Emaar EC) invested nearly 18 billion in the development of King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) in equity and funding since its inception.
5) Shareholders of Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Co. (Al Othaim) will vote on electing new board of directors for the three-year term, starting Oct. 3, 2021, during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) that will be held on Sept. 22.
6) Saudi Investment Bank’s (SAIB) treasury shares rights trading period ended on Aug. 23.
7) Brent crude on Tuesday gained 13 cents to reach $68.88 per barrel. WTI crude also increased 8 cents to reach $65.72/bbl.
