SAMI inks logistics services agreement with Bahri

Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), inked a logistics services agreement with National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri).

 

Under the agreement, Bahri will offer all the business units and companies affiliated to SAMI, broad-range logistics as well as shipping services locally and overseas within the air, maritime and land transport.

 

SAMI-affiliated firms are Aircraft Accessories and Components Company (AACC), SAMI Navantia Naval Industries, Advanced Electronic Co., SAMI CMI Defence Systems, and SAMI L3HARRIS Technologies.

 

The agreement currently covers the Saudi market. However, both companies are working to expand operations overseas.

 

Additionally, Bahri will provide door-to-door logistics and shipping services to facilitate the implementation of SAMI’s projects and programs.

 

The agreement will further boost the usage of logistics services in the defense industry.
