Saudi Arabia records 766 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 766 COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 12, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 536,693, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,532, raising the total number of recovered cases to 518,911 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 12 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,378.

 

Active cases totaled 9,404, of which 1,387 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 133, followed by Makkah (127), Eastern Province (113), Asir (80) and Al-Qassim (73).

 

The Kingdom conducted 85,110 new tests, with the total number of administered COVID-19 doses rising to 31.07 million.
