Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.
1) stc reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 5.773 billion for the first half of 2021, a rise of 2% year-on-year (YoY).
2) Middle East Paper Co. (MEPCO) reported net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 60.8 million in H1 2021.
3) Makkah Construction and Development Co. reported a net loss after Zakat and tax of SAR 14 million for H1 2021.
4) Eastern Province Cement Co.'s board of directors recommended a 14% cash dividend for H1 2021, at SAR 1.40 a share, totaling SAR 120.40 million.
5) stc board of directors recommended a 10% cash dividend for the second quarter of 2021, at SAR 1 per share, amounting to SAR 2 billion.
6) Bank Aljazira reported a net profit of SAR 572.8 million for H1 2021, a 65% rise YoY.
7) Tanmiah Food Co. will start trading on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) on Aug. 4, with the symbol 2281 and ISIN Code SA15BH1H3KH5 with +/- 30% daily price fluctuation limits and +/- 10% static price fluctuation limits.
8) Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co.'s shareholders approved the financial restructuring proposal, under the Saudi bankruptcy law.
9) Brent crude on Tuesday gained 8 cents to reach $72.97 per barrel. WTI crude also increased 10 cents to reach $71.36/bbl.
