Advanced appoints Bandar Alghafees as board, audit committee member

Advanced Petrochemical Co.’s (Advanced) board of directors approved the appointment of Bandar Sulaiman Alghafees as an independent board member and an audit committee member, effective today, July 27, the company said in a bourse filing.

Alghafees is currently the General Manager of Information Technology Governance at the General Organization of Social Insurance (GOSI). He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from King Saud University in 2006.

The appointment will succeed the resignation of independent board member and audit committee member, Sultan Mohammad Ahmed Al Solaiman, effective today, citing GOSI’s request to change its representative.

The appointment is temporary and is subject to the approval of the upcoming general meeting.
