King Fahd Causeway Authority announced on July 11, that health authorities issued new updates for those entering Saudi Arabia using the causeway.

Those who have received two doses of Sinopharm or Sinovac vaccines need to take a booster dose of a Saudi-approved vaccine, and should have a PCR test within 72 hours of arrival, as prerequisites to enter the Kingdom.

COVID-19 vaccination certificates issued from countries other than Saudi Arabia should state that the certificate holder must have received both vaccine doses.

Also, the certificate should be stamped from the other country’s competent health authorities and there should be a 14-day minimum interval between the time of the second dose and the entry date.

The approved vaccines in Saudi Arabia are Pfizer- BioNTech, Oxford-AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Moderna.
