IATA inks deal with GACA to set up headquarters in Saudi Arabia

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) inked a deal with Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to establish its regional headquarters in the Kingdom, Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

The agreement was signed by GACA President, Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, and IATA Vice President for Africa and Middle East, Kamel Al-Awadhi.

 

The agreement came within the Kingdom’s support of the international and regional aviation institutions. It highlighted the significance of strengthening mutual cooperation with international and regional organizations to boost the air transport sector at the local and global levels, said Al-Duailej.
