Saudi Arabia records 1,247 COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,247 COVID-19 cases today, July 5, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 494,032, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,429, raising the total number of recovered cases to 474,368 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 11,773, of which 1,350 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 15 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,891.

 

Asir reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 273, followed by Eastern Province (234), Makkah (220), Riyadh (206), Jazan (110) and Madinah (68).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 94,010 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 22.38 million.

 

Almost 18.59 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
