Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman

Saudi Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, confirmed, on July 4, that there is consensus among the OPEC+ countries, except one.

In an interview with Al Arabiya TV, Prince Abdulaziz said: "Saudi Arabia has made the biggest sacrifice, and without its leadership, the oil market would not have improved".

He pointed out that no country can take the level of production in one month as a reference, asking why any country would be silent if it had reservations about the OPEC+ agreement.

The energy minister said that he has been attending OPEC+ meetings for 34 years, during which he did not encounter a similar request.

He represents a balanced country that takes into account the interests of all in its role as president of OPEC+, Prince Abdulaziz said, adding that he is neither optimistic nor pessimistic about the next meeting.
