National Debt Management Center's (NDMC) board of directors, headed by Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan, approved the appointment of Hani AlMedaini as the center's acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

AlMedaini replaced Fahad Al-Saif who participated in setting up the debt management office at the Ministry of Finance in 2015 and establishing the NDMC in 2019, Saudi Press Agency reported.

AlMedaini has extensive experience and deep knowledge in the financial, investment and treasury management fields, helping the center achieve its goals by sustaining the Kingdom’s access to various debt markets and issue sovereign debt instruments.

He joined the center in September 2019 as Head of Portfolio Management and was named as the Deputy CEO in March 2021. He was also appointed as a board member of the Real Estate Development Fund and the Saudi Housing Security Services Co., in addition to being a member of some committees emanating from the board of directors.
