Saudi Arabia records 1,318 COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,318 COVID-19 cases today, June 28, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 484,539, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,290, raising the total number of recovered cases to 465,546 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 11,204, of which 1,438 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 14 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,789.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 345, followed by Eastern Province (302), Riyadh (247), Asir (161), Jazan (93), and Madinah (62).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 86,820 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 21.69 million.

 

Almost 17.36 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
