Saudi commerce minister stresses importance of consumer rights, improved private sector services

Saudi Arabia's Minister of Commerce Majid Al-Qasabi stressed the importance of consumer rights and improvement of the services provided by the private sector.  

 

During his meeting with the CEOs of agents and distributors of electrical appliances in the Kingdom, Al-Qasabi confirmed the importance of improving the after-sale services, as well as setting and monitoring performance indicators according to the best international standards, in addition to reviewing and developing the legislative and procedural aspects related to the sector. 

 

The minister directed the formation of work teams from the representatives of the sector to identify all challenges and solutions. 

He confirmed the fulfillment of consumer needs, especially after the ministry received complaints from consumers over the last period.  

 

The ministry is working, in partnership with commercial establishments, to help them develop their services, provide a stimulating environment, and overcome all difficulties and challenges.
