Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority (ECZA)

Saudi Arabia's Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority (ECZA) discussed with an investment delegation from Oman the possibility of establishing an industrial zone, SPA reported.

This came during a meeting between the Secretary General of ECZA, Nabil Khoja, and the Undersecretary of Oman’s Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Asila Al Samsami.

Both parties discussed prospects for cooperation and integration opportunities in the special economic zones between the Kingdom and Oman.

Within the framework of strengthening international cooperation between the two countries, Saudi Arabia will develop, operate, and manage the zone; build logistical paths to transport goods between the Saudi and Omani special economic zones; benefit from the joint economic impact; and exchange experiences in the field of development and supervision in the special economic zones.

They also explored providing support to the Omani side to attract Saudi investments for special economic zones and free zones projects in the Sultanate.
