Herfy appoints Sam Bader as new acting CEO in place of Khalid Al-Said

Herfy Food Services Co.’s board of directors decided to end the assignment of Ahmed Bin Hamad Al-Said as acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and appoint Sam Mohamed Bader in his place, effective today, June 22, the firm said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

Bader started his career with Burger King in the US, before moving to work with McDonald’s, US. He has been with Herfy for the last 16 years and his latest position at the firm was Executive Director for Restaurants.

 

He completed studies in accounting and business management from Jersey City State College, US.

 

In April, Herfy’s board approved the resignation of CEO Ahmed Al-Saeed, Argaam reported.

 

In a separate statement, Herfy announced the resignation of Isam Majid Al Muhaidib as chairman and member of the audit committee, effective June 21.

 

Ali Barakat was appointed as chairman of the audit committee.

 

Meanwhile, Hussein Ali Al Asmari was appointed as member of the audit committee, effective June 21 until the end of the current session on April 30, 2024.

 

The appointments are pending shareholders’ approval, the statement said.
