Saudi Arabia records 1,079 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,079 COVID-19 cases today, June 20, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 474,191, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,214, raising the total number of recovered cases to 455,618 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 10,896, of which 1,516 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 14 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,677.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 320, followed by Riyadh (216), Eastern Province (206), Asir (100), Jazan (63), and Madinah (57).

 

The Kingdom conducted 77,830 new tests, bringing up the total number to 20.88 million. 

 

More than 16.58 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
