HRSD ministry’s decision to Saudize accounting jobs benefitted 9,300 workers: official

A total of 9,300 Saudi workers have so far benefited from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s (HRSD) decision to Saudize 30% of the accounting professions, Al Youm newspaper reported, citing the ministry’s official spokesperson Saad Al Hammad.

 

The average salaries of new Saudi accountants increased by 30% from SAR 4,000 to SAR 5,200 following the Saudization decision.

 

The HRSD ministry issued a decision on Dec. 23, 2020, to Saudize 30% of the accounting job, Argaam reported.

 

The decision was effective as of Dhu al-Qi'dah 1, 1442 AH (June 12, 2021), and was applicable to all local private entities with at least five accounting professionals.
