Minister of Commerce Majed Alkassabi
Saudi Arabia aims to be the topmost trade partner of Egypt in the next five years, SPA reported, citing Majed Alkassabi, Minister of Commerce.
A total of 6,285 firms are investing more than $30 billion (SAR 112.5 billion) in Egypt.
Moreover, Egypt is a promising market, Alkassabi noted, adding that 285 brands and over 518 Egyptian companies are investing in promising sectors across the Kingdom.
On the other hand, the Egyptian authorities are keen to overcome all obstacles to investors. New and promising opportunities are available for Saudi and Egyptian investors, as well as the Saudi government in Egypt, Alkassabi added on the sidelines of the Saudi-Egyptian Joint Committee meeting held in Cairo.
