Saudi Arabia maintained its position as Dubai's fourth largest trade partner globally and the first regionally, according to Dubai's foreign trade data.
Dubai's trade exchange with the Kingdom reached nearly AED 14.7 billion (SAR 15 billion) in Q1 2021, a rise of 20% compared with Q1 2020.
China ranked first as the emirate's first largest trade partner in 2021, with trade exchange of AED 44 billion. The US came third, while Turkey ranked fifth, with a leap of 72% year-on-year (YoY) in its trade exchange with Dubai, reaching AED 12 billion.
Dubai's foreign trade increased by 10% YoY to AED 354 billion in the first quarter of 2021.
