Saudi Arabia is strategically investing in the alternative dispute resolution industry, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported, citing Walid Abanumay, chairman of Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA).

“This will render the Kingdom’s judicial environment attractive for local and foreign investments in the long term,” Abanumay added.

Further, it will also boost the Kingdom’s ranking in Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) index and enhance the credibility of its judicial system among international peers.

The SCCA plays a key role in this regard, thanks to its reliability in the settlement of the commercial disputes, in addition to its expertise, arbitration and mediation services, which were set in line with the best international standards and practices, qualifying it to be a national icon for the industry of alternatives to dispute settlement.
