Saudi Cabinet approves social insurance law to include govt workers not subject to civil pension

King Salman bin Abdulaziz heads Saudi Cabinet meeting via virtual call


The Saudi Cabinet, headed by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, approved on May 25, 2021, the social insurance law to include all workers in ministries and government agencies, who are not registered in the civil retirement scheme.

 

The decision includes those working under the system of temporary jobs or contracts, regardless of their length of service, as reported by Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

 

Meanwhile, the Cabinet also approved the Ministry of Investment law.
