The Saudi embassy in Washington
The Saudi embassy in Washington DC clarified the requirements that should be fulfilled by citizens wishing to travel to the United States, as part of the precautionary measures taken to curb the spread of COVID-19.
The embassy called upon the citizens to make COVID-19 test within 72 hours before travel.
People of two years and more, including the US nationals and residents as well as travelers from a foreign country, should submit evidence that the test result is negative or they are not infected with COVID-19.
Non-US citizens coming from China, UK, India, Ireland, Brazil, Iran, South Africa, and the Schengen countries are prohibited from entering the US during the first 14 days from their arrival.
The embassy said that the list of these countries might change according to the pandemic developments, calling on those who wish to know more information to visit the website of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
