7 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Sunday.

 

1) Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. (AWPT) reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 26.9 million for the first quarter of 2021, a 15% decline year-on-year (YoY).

 

2) Al Hammadi Company for Development and Investment's shareholders approved the board of directors’ recommendation of a 5% cash dividend, or SAR 0.5 a share, for 2020.

 

3) Basic Chemical Industries Co. (BCI) reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 8.8 million for the first quarter of 2021, a fall of 16% YoY.

 

4) Ayyan Investment Co.’s net profit declined 54% YoY to SAR 7.4 million in Q1 2021.

 

5) Tourism Enterprise Co. (Shams) narrowed net losses after Zakat and tax by 65% to SAR 941,441 for Q1 2021.

 

6) The Capital Market Authority (CMA) disapproved Jazan Energy and Development Co.’s (JAZADCO) request to increase its capital from SAR 500 million to SAR 828.03 million, by issuing 32.80 million ordinary shares to acquire Jazel Investments Ltd.

 

7) Brent crude on Friday gained $1.33 to reach $66.44 per barrel. WTI crude also increased $1.64 to reach $63.58/bbl.
