Saudia CEO says demand for domestic flights exceeds capacity, expects to turn profit by 2024

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) is currently witnessing strong demand for domestic flights, exceeding capacity, Reuters reported, citing CEO Ibrahim Koshy.

 

The national carrier is expected to turn profit by 2024, Koshy said on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market exhibition in Dubai today, May 17, 2021.

 

According to data compiled by Argaam, Saudi Arabia’s decision to allow citizens to travel abroad and fully reopen sea, air and land borders comes into effect today.
