Saudi Arabia records 1,090 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,090 COVID-19 cases today, May 6, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 423,406, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 982, raising the total number of recovered cases to 406,589 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 14 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,032.

 

Active cases totaled 9,785 , of which 1,333 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 402, followed by Makkah (288), Eastern Province (136), and Madinah (57).

 

The Kingdom conducted 76,717 new tests, bringing up the total number to 17.31 million.

 

More than 10.04 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
