Yamama Cement names Turki bin Turki as board chairman

Yamama Cement Co.’s board of directors, in its meeting held on April 19, 2021, elected Prince Turki bin Turki, a non-executive member, as the chairman of the board, and Prince Naif bin Sultan Al-Kabeer, as vice chairman of the board for the current board term, started on March 29, 2021, the company said in a bourse filing. 

  

The board also approved the formation of the nomination and remuneration committee with Abdullah Al-Abikan as chairman; and Prince Naif Al-Kabeer and Faisal Al-Rajhi as non-executive members. 

 

The audit committee was also formed with Raed bin Ali Al-Seif as chairman; and Abdullah Al-Bahouth and Lotfi Shehadeh as members.

 

During the meeting, board members amended the job title of the general manager, Jehad Al-Rasheed, to chief executive officer (CEO).
