Saudi Arabia records 783 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 783 COVID-19 cases today, April 7, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 394,952, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 417, raising the total number of recovered cases to 381,189 (97% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 7,044, of which 852 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported eight new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,719.

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 63,992 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 15.53 million.

 

More than 5.46 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 341, followed by Makkah (142), Eastern Province (131), Asir (30) and Madinah (25).
