Saudi Arabia records 792 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 792 COVID-19 cases today, April 6, 2021, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 394,169, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 467, raising the total number of recovered cases to 380,772 (97% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported seven new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,711.

 

Active cases totaled 6,686, of which 846 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 363, followed by Makkah (154), Eastern Province (112), Asir (24) and Al-Qassim (22).

 

The Kingdom conducted 62,432 new tests, bringing up the total number to 15.47 million.

 

More than 5.21 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
