Saudi Arabia committed to offer free health, education services: minister

Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Saudi Arabia’s Acting Minister of Information, said that the Kingdom is committed to offer free health and education services.
 

"It is not true that health and education will be offered in consideration of fees", the minister said during a press conference held today, answering a question about the privatization of health and education sector.
 

Al-Qasabi also noted that the Minister of Finance will hold a press conference later on to give more details about the privatization among other things.
 

The minister also said that the COVID-19 vaccination program is proceeding steadily, adding that all nationals and residents will receive the vaccine by the end of this year, as per the health ministry plan.
