Saudi Arabia not to extend COVID-19 restrictions as of March 7

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior will not extend the COVID-19 restrictions as of Sunday, March 7. 

 

The Kingdom will halt the precautionary measures related to suspending all entertainment activities and events. Moreover, cinemas, indoor entertainment centers and independent game centers, including those located in restaurants, malls, or other public places, gyms and sports centers will reopen.  

 

Meanwhile, all events and ceremonies will remain suspended, including marriage ceremonies, corporate meetings at independent or hotel party halls, rest houses and camps until further notice. 

 

Saudi Arabia will extend the precautionary measure for attendance at social events and gatherings at 20 people maximum.
