The committee, which will include high-profile representatives from the private sector, aims to capitalize on the diversified expertise of its members in achieving the development goals for Saudi Arabia, the minister stated.
Al Hogail also added that the committee will define the challenges that are confronted by the private sector with respect to municipal investment and propose solutions for them, as well as express views on related laws and regulations, approaches and strategies, and general plans.
Furthermore, the committee will propose investment initiatives and opportunities that contribute to increasing the revenues of cities and fuel the appetite of the private sector to invest in the municipal sector.
