Emaar EC appoints Hani Baothman to board as Ahmad Al Matrooshi resigns

Emaar The Economic City’s (Emaar EC) board of directors accepted the resignation of Ahmad Al Matrooshi, submitted on Feb. 14 and effective Feb. 22, 2021, the firm said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

Additionally, the board appointed Hani Othman Baothman as a member, starting Feb. 21, 2021.

 

The appointment is pending shareholders’ approval.

 

Baothman has extensive professional experience and many important executive leadership achievements in the field of commercial and charitable works, in addition to skills in managing relationships, negotiation and persuasion in the field of specialized strategic investments.
