BinDawood says SAR 124.4 mln lawsuit filed against subsidiary Danube

BinDawood Holding Co. announced that Arab Dalla Co. filed a lawsuit against one of its subsidiaries, Danube Company for Foodstuffs & Commodities (Danube), for patent infringement, seeking a compensation of SAR 124.13 million and legal fees of SAR 300,000.

 

The lawsuit was filed with the Commercial Court in Jeddah, BinDawood said in a statement to Tadawul today, Feb. 18, 2021.

 

The company is studying the file of the case and is in the process of appointing a lawyer to advise and represent it accordingly.

 

Financial impact, and legal consequence and risks of the case will be announced in due course.
