Minister of Health Tawfig Al-Rabiah
Saudi Minister of Health Tawfig Al-Rabiah said that new consignments of COVID-19 vaccines arrived in the Kingdom, following an interruption caused by conditions beyond control.
The minister called on everyone to register via "Sehati' app to receive the vaccine.
The ministry's spokesman said yesterday, Feb 14, 2021, that Saudi Arabia resumed the import of COVID-19 vaccines. He asked those waiting for the second dose to set an appointment to receive the vaccine.
He noted that a total of 446,940 doses had been administered to date.
The ministry announced, on Jan. 20, the rescheduling of the dates for administering the first doses of Pfizer vaccine due to a delay from the side of the manufacturer in supplying the shipments to the Kingdom and other countries, according to Argaam's data.
