Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co. (GO) is working hard to fulfill all requirements necessary for stock trading resumption as soon as possible, CEO Yahya Bin Saleh Al Mansour told Argaam in a telephone interview.

“It’s up to the Capital Market Authority (CMA) to decide,” Al Mansour said.

Payables do not pose a big challenge to the company’s transformation plan, as Etihad Atheeb always seeks to form partnerships and alliances to serve the interest of all parties, customers and shareholders, and to improve its financial position, the CEO explained.

The company developed a complete strategy and a business plan to support its transformation, development and business. Etihad Atheeb also aims to enhance its competitive abilities and customer services, and improve its infrastructure in line with customer expectations and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

The telecom operator turned to a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 102.6 million in the nine-month period ended Dec. 31, 2020, backed by a rise in other income and financing income, Argaam reported.

The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) suspended trading on Etihad Atheeb shares since July 1, 2018, as the company did not disclose its financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2018.

The stock closed at SAR 11.06 on June 28, 2018.
