Dr. Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, spokesman of the Ministry of Health
Low coronavirus infection rate and the availability of vaccines led to a false sense of safety among the public, resulting in laxity with precautionary measures, Saudi TV reported, citing Mohammed Al-Abd Al-Aly, spokesman for Ministry of Health.
Al-Aly said a decision on partial or full lockdown will depend on the direction of COVID-19 infection curve, adding that if there is a rise in fresh cases then stricter action will be required.
