Saudi Ground Services Co. (SGS) signed a contract to renew its partnership with Indonesia’s flagship carrier, Garuda Indonesia, to provide ground handling services at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, the firm said in a statement.
Under the three-year agreement, SGS will provide passenger services for scheduled flights, Hajj and Umrah trips, aircraft services in the airport yards, in addition to cabin cleaning and sterilization services, and the loading and unloading of luggage, in accordance with international regulations and standards.
SGS provided ground handling services for Garuda in 2019 for more than 1,520 flights and about 500,000 passengers.
