Saudi Arabia bans entry for non-citizens except for diplomats, health practitioners

Saudi Arabia temporarily suspended entry to the Kingdom for non-citizens coming from 20 countries, except for diplomats, health practitioners, and their families starting today, Feb. 3, at 9 pm. 

  

Entry to the Kingdom was suspended for those coming from the Argentine Republic, the UAE, Germany, the US, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Pakistan, Brazil, Portugal, the UK, Turkey, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Lebanon, Egypt, India, and Japan, according to an official Ministry of Interior source.

 

The decision also includes the same categories coming from other countries, if they transited the abovementioned countries in the last 14 days before applying to enter the Kingdom. 

 

The entry of citizens, diplomats, health practitioners, and their families from the abovementioned countries is subject to the precautionary measures applicable in the Kingdom.
