Saudi private sector localization rate rises 21.81% in Q4 2020

The rate of localization in private sector facilities rose to 21.81% of total workforce in the fourth quarter of 2020, compared to 20.90% in the same quarter a year earlier, data from the Human Resources Development Fund’s (Hadaf) National Labor Observatory showed.

According to the National Labor Observatory, the number of Saudi private sector subscribers in social insurance amounted to 1.75 million in Q4 2020, including 65.6% males and 34.4% female.

 

The Eastern Province ranked first in localization of jobs with 25.3%, followed by Riyadh (22.5%), Makkah (21.4%), Madinah (19.2%), and Asir (17.6%).
