Yanbu Cement sees negotiated deal worth SAR 3.9 mln, JAZADCO worth SAR 36 mln today

Yanbu Cement Co. saw a negotiated deal on its shares today, Feb. 1, where approximately 80,000 shares were privately traded at a negotiated price of SAR 48.40 per share, for a total of SAR 3.9 million.

 

Meanwhile, Jazan Energy and Development Co. (JAZADCO) saw a negotiated deal, where almost 1.85 million shares were privately traded at a negotiated price of SAR 19.50 per share, at a total value of SAR 36 million.

 

The deal represents around 3.7% of the company's capital reaching 50 million shares.

 

A negotiated deal involves a stock purchase based on a bargain between buyers and sellers, apart from market price. The negotiated price does not directly impact market price.

According to data compiled by Argaam, JAZADCO has witnessed several negotiated deals since Dec. 29, 2020, where nearly 5.46 million shares were traded at a total value of SAR 99.8 million. The deals represent 10.9% of the company's total shares.
