The Saudi Customs Authority signed, today, Jan. 26, a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) to localize customs clearance jobs, develop the national workforce and boost its competitiveness.
On its official Twitter account, the authority stated that it aims to Saudize 100% or 2,000 customs clearance jobs, as well as harmonize the Saudization policy in the sector.
The memorandum aims to provide incentives for the customs clearance sector to support the entities and job seekers in the sector, in addition to providing qualification and training for the citizens wishing to work in it, the authority added.
